This is the opening update for the third batch of tree seeds that I planted a few weeks ago. Unlike the other two batches, there has been next to no growth from this batch. Out of the one hundred Sacred Figs, forty-five Pines, and fifty mystery seeds only one seed has germinated. It’s supposed to be a Sacred Fig, however, it looks nothing like any of my other Sacred Figs.

Mystery Ficus

This tree seedling is a complete mystery. It grew out of a plot of soil where I planted a bunch of Sacred Figs. The only thing is, the appearance of this tree is completely dissimilar to my other Sacred Figs. The stem is a lot taller, the leaves are a darker green, and the leaves are quite longer. I am not sure if this is still a Sacred Fig that is just slightly different than my other ones or if it is a different plant altogether. It’ll be interesting to see what this sapling develops into.

Stay tuned for more updates about my third batch of tree seeds as they start to grow and more!
