Three days ago, my roommates and I went to the store where out of the corner of my eye I spotted a lonesome pineapple plant. It was the last one in stock and has quite a few brown and yellow leaves scattered around the plant. I couldn’t resist and decided that I had to take the plant home with me. These are some pictures of the pineapple plant in question.

Before I trim the leaves and clean the plant up, I want to give it a few days to adjust to its new location and watering routine. Once the plant has settled in I will clean it up. I also plan to re-pot this pineapple plant into a bigger container in the near future.

For now, I am keeping a close eye on how dry the soil gets because I’m not sure how well it was being watered at the store. This kind of plant loves heat and warm weather so, I am confident that it will thrive outdoors here in Virginia for a few more months. Once the weather starts to cool down I will bring this plant indoors.

I will keep you updated with all the developments with this plant and all my other plants as well. Be sure to subscribe to post notifications and check out any recent posts you may have missed! You can also see more pictures of this plant and all my other plants in the Gallery.
